Yogyakarta — In a relaxed yet meaningful atmosphere, the Master's Program in Social Welfare held a Perception Alignment event with its first cohort of students. Hosted at Kedai Kopi Ambarukmo, this event marked an important moment in strengthening the relationship between faculty and students while formulating the future development direction of the study program.

The event was attended by the program management team and all first-year master's students. Designed in a non-formal format, the discussion atmosphere was made more open and dynamic to encourage transparency, strengthen collaboration, and foster a sense of togetherness in building a conducive academic environment.

One of the main agendas of the event was aligning perceptions regarding the implementation of research and community service projects involving collaboration between faculty members and students. The discussion focused on enhancing synergy in developing research and community service themes that are relevant to societal needs. Additionally, the structure and name of the student organization for the Master's Program in Social Welfare were formulated during the event. This organization is expected to serve as a platform for student aspirations, creativity, and capacity building, while also supporting future program initiatives.

The event also featured a sharing session where faculty and students exchanged experiences regarding the dynamics of learning at the master's level, along with hopes and ideas for the future development of the study program.
