Synergy Towards Excellence: Master of Social Welfare Study Program Holds Cross-Batch Consolidation to Accelerate Studies and Accreditation

In an effort to realize a dynamic and high-achieving academic ecosystem, the Master of Social Welfare Study Program has once again demonstrated its commitment through a strategic cross-batch meeting. Held on April 9, 2026, in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, the event was attended by student representatives and served as a highly effective consolidation platform. This initiative is part of the study program's ongoing commitment to ensure every student receives optimal guidance during their master's education, while simultaneously bridging supportive communication between students and the faculty.

This meeting felt even more special and meaningful with the strong collaboration established among various institutional elements. In addition to being attended directly by the Study Program Management, the event also received special attention with the presence of Mr. Choirudin, the Academic Staff of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication. His presence brought a distinct value to the discussion, affirming the faculty's full support and excellent facilitation for the students' administrative and academic processes. The harmonious synergy among the study program, faculty, and students serves as a very strong foundation to address various future academic challenges.

One of the main and most crucial agendas of the meeting was providing motivation regarding the acceleration of study periods. The study program and faculty management specifically encouraged and motivated students to complete their master's education on time, with a targeted graduation of a maximum of 2 years. This target is emphasized not merely to fulfill administrative durations, but as a manifestation of achieving efficiency and qualified academic excellence. Students are encouraged to be more disciplined and structured in setting their final project completion targets so they can promptly contribute professionally to society.

Beyond emphasizing the study completion duration, this face-to-face meeting also reiterated the urgency of scientific publications as a main pillar in postgraduate education. Students were urged to proactively produce scientific papers and publish them in reputable journals. Having scientific publications is highly crucial, not only as a graduation requirement but also as an academic track record (portfolio) that will significantly increase the graduates' bargaining power in the job market. The outstanding works of these students will simultaneously serve as a tangible contribution that directly elevates the academic reputation of the Master of Social Welfare program.

Ultimately, the momentum of this meeting culminated as a socialization and alignment effort toward the institution's major agenda in 2026: the Study Program Re-Accreditation process. The management firmly conveyed that achieving a superior accreditation result requires the active involvement and support of all elements, especially the success track record of its students. Through timely graduation and stellar publication records, students play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this re-accreditation assessment. With this solid shared commitment, the Master of Social Welfare Study Program is optimistic about achieving the highest accreditation, further solidifying its position as a prestigious, trusted study program, and the top choice for future prospective students.
