Yogyakarta, February 7, 2025 – The Master of Social Welfare Program held a Socialization Program (Sospem) for new students of the even semester 2024/2025. The event took place over two days, from February 6-7, 2025, at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication.
The Sospem aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the master's program, including its vision and mission, academic services, and available facilities. Additionally, participants were introduced to various academic and non-academic activities that could support their studies. During the two-day event, new students received materials covering academic orientation, faculty introduction, and curriculum and research opportunities in the field of social welfare. A Q&A session was also held to allow students to gain deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities they might face throughout their studies.
This program also served to strengthen relationships among new students and help them adapt to their new academic environment. Participants actively engaged in the sessions, interacting with lecturers and fellow students, which further enriched their early academic experience. With the event concluding on February 7, 2025, it is hoped that the new Master of Social Welfare students are better prepared to face academic challenges and achieve success in their studies.
