Graduate Program in Social Welfare Management Presents 2025 Annual Report and Develops 2026 Work Plan

The management team of the Master’s Program in Social Welfare at UIN Sunan Kalijaga participated in a strategic meeting to present the 2025 Annual Report and formulate the 2026 work plan. The activity was organized by the Faculty of Da‘wah and Communication as part of its continuous effort to strengthen academic quality and program governance. The meeting was held over three days, from Friday, 5 December to Sunday, 7 December 2025, at Puri Asri Hotel, Magelang. Faculty leaders, program heads, secretaries, and managers were present to deliver performance reports, achievements, and development plans based on comprehensive evaluation. The series of discussions reflected a shared commitment to improving educational quality and academic services.

In the reporting session, the management of the Master’s Program in Social Welfare presented updates on academic activities, faculty research, community engagement initiatives, institutional capacity-building, and curriculum development. The 2025 performance evaluation served as a crucial foundation for designing strategic steps to address upcoming challenges and opportunities. The agenda continued with the formulation of the 2026 work plan, emphasizing program strengthening, expansion of partnership networks, learning innovation, and community empowerment–based activities. The program management also highlighted the importance of integrating research, cross-institutional collaboration, and enhancing academic services for students.

This meeting is expected to reinforce the future direction of the Master’s Program in Social Welfare and ensure that all activities align with the vision of the faculty and the university. With strong support from the Faculty of Da‘wah and Communication, the program remains committed to advancing the field of social welfare both locally and nationally.
