Innovative Synergy Beyond the Campus: HIMAMAKESA Formulates Activity Roadmap to Strengthen the Academic Ecosystem

The Master of Social Welfare Student Association (HIMAMAKESA) continues to strive for innovation and tangible contributions through various strategic initiatives. Taking a more relaxed yet substantive approach, HIMAMAKESA held an informal meeting on September 10, 2025, at a strategically located cafe near the campus area. The choice of an off-campus venue was deliberately designed to create a more fluid, intimate, and open discussion atmosphere, effectively sparking fresh ideas and critical thinking from all the participants.

This warm gathering was attended by 10 student representatives from the class of 2025. The presence of this new cohort's delegation brought a spirit of novelty and high enthusiasm to actively contribute from the very beginning of their studies. The main focus of this casual meeting was to conduct intensive brainstorming to outline the future activity roadmap for HIMAMAKESA. Through this participatory discussion platform, every student had an equal opportunity to share their perspectives, voice their aspirations, and design a purposeful, goal-oriented framework for the association.

The core of the sharing and discussion session centered on formulating work programs capable of delivering a significant impact on strengthening the Master of Social Welfare Study Program. The ten students proactively analyzed various potential flagship activities, ranging from scientific discussions and sustainable community service programs to publication and collaboration strategies. This initiative serves as concrete proof of HIMAMAKESA's commitment to playing a vital role in maintaining the existence, enhancing the reputation, and supporting the competitiveness of the study program to excel amidst the challenges of higher education.

In addition to focusing on external contributions to the study program, the development of this roadmap was also specifically dedicated to strengthening the internal capacity and solidity of HIMAMAKESA itself. The discussion narrowed down to strategies for building a healthy organizational culture, improving the soft skills of its members, and reinforcing familial bonds within the association. With a comprehensive activity roadmap resulting from this informal discussion, HIMAMAKESA is optimistic that it can continue to grow into an internally solid organization while serving as a strategic partner that drives progressive advancement for the Master of Social Welfare Study Program.
